Comic

Issue #1 - Page 8

Ok, I was a little negligent in my notes last time, so I've got some freebie credits backlog :P Damn school assignments getting in the way. I have to get back into the routine of doing my assignments at my computer while the renders run instead of doing them in front of the TV... I'd be more productive on both counts that way ^^;

Anyway, still a lot of talk and no action... I guess that's not such a weird thing, I mean this isn't Bleach or anything :P I just feel like I might be boring people. Hopefully it's not too boring. I care about my characters, but I don't know that I'm all that good at making other people care about them too.

Sometimes I wish I could be funny instead...

Speaking of funny... the "bassline with the left hand" comes from a joke about bass players:
Q: How many bass players does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: None, the keyboardist can do it with his/her left hand.
Ok, so it's not really that funny. I'm allowed to tell that joke, being a bass player :P Even if I'm a horrendously out-of-practice one now... I no longer have the self-discipline of an obsessed 16 year old. I do miss playing with other people though. Perhaps this webcomic is my way of being in a band without being in a band? (Actually there's no perhaps about it ;.; I miss playing music! But to get back into it would take at least a bit of that self-discipline that seems to have evaporated... That and to find some music that fires me up the way it did way back then. More on my musical identity crisis later, I'm sure.)
